¾ c. (6 oz) unsweetened pineapple juice
¼ c. soy sauce
⅛ c. chopped onion
¼ c. sugar
¼ t. black pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1 T. ginger, minced

Directions:
Directions:
In small saucepan, combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic, onion, and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring, over medium-high heat. When it starts to boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in pepper and ginger. Remove from heat, and let cool. Can add cornstarch slurry to thicken, if desired.


Grill or bake can be used on pork, chicken, ribs, burgers to baste or as marinade.
