2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup milk
4 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cream
½ cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
To 2 eggs well beaten, add 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Sift together 1 cup sifted flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and ¼ teaspoon salt. Add to eggs and sugar. Then add quickly ½ cup milk heated to boiling point with 1 tablespoon butter. The batter is thin. Bake in round or square pan in moderate oven 350 degrees for 35 minutes. When done and still hot spread the top with the following mixture: 3 tablespoons melted butter, 5 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons cream and ½ cup coconut. Bake under broiler until golden brown watching closely.
