4 cups (16oz) elbow macaroni, cooked
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup flour
salt to taste
pepper to taste
5 cups milk
4 cups (16oz) shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350ºF Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, blend in flour, salt and pepper; gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and mixture begins to boil. Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted. In 3 quart casserole, stir together pasta and cheese sauce. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serves 8 - 10.
