2 pkg. crescent rolls (I use reduced fat)
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 8 oz. pkg. cream chees (I use reduced fat)
1 c. mayonnaise (I use reduced fat)
1 pkg. Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese (I use 2% milk type)
2 cups of very finely chopped veggies of your choice (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, peppers, mushrooms are all good- try to vary the color)

Unroll crescent rolls and spread them over a large cookie sheet to cover. Spread beaten egg over the raw dough. Bake at 350º until golden brown. Cool.
Mix softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing mix in a large bowl. Spread mixture over the cooled crust. Sprinkle chopped veggies evenly over the cream cheese, then sprinkle cheddar cheese over that. Cut into squares.
Can be made ahead and kept in refrigerator, but the crust gets soft.

I've tried tomatoes on it, but they are a little too "wet."
