2 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups cake flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pint whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Blend in the flour mixed with the salt. Add whipping cream and vanilla. Beat just enough to get mixed well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and put in cold oven. Bake at 325 for 1 hour.
