1/2 cup cornstarch
1 cup flour
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter or margarine softened
baking maraschino cherries cut in half or colored sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour,corn starch,sugar and salt. Beat in butter. Keep dough soft. If you can whip it with a pastry whip it can be put in a cookie maker. If not form into 1/2" balls and press down with a fork,top with cherry half or sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake at 300 for 15-20 mins until bottoms are golden.
