Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg yeast
⅔ c warm water
2 tbsp salad oil
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2¼ c flour
1 egg, beaten
Poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water. Add oils, sugar and 1 cup flour. Beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to make a stiff dough. Turnout on floured board and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes, using additional flour, as needed. Place dough in buttered bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
Punch dough down and divide in half. Cut each half into 24 equal-sized pieces. Roll each piece, using palm of hands, into a roll 6-8 inches long. Place sticks parallel on greased baking sheets about 1/2" apart. Brush with egg and sprinkle with poppy seed or sesame seeds. Let rise in warm place until almost doubled, about 30 minutes. Bake at 325º for 30 minutes or until golden.
