1 large cabbage quartered and cored
1 med bell pepper minced
(for color 1/2 green 1/2 red)
1 med onion chopped fine
2 carrots, grated

Dressing
1/2 to 1/4 cup sugar (depending on sweetness
1 teasp salt
1 teasp dry mustard
1 teasp celery seeds
1 c cider vinegar
1/2 c veg oil

Directions:
Directions:
With sharp knife, slice each cabbage quarter very fine; combine with pepper, onion and carrots in large bowl and toss to mix.
Mix dressing ingredients in sauce pan and let come to a boil over med heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Pour over cabbage and toss well. Cool, then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
(dressing may be mixed and poured over slaw without cooking)
