½ cup water
2 cups seedless raisins
2 cups flour
1½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
3 cups Grape Nuts Flakes cereal

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º

Add water to raisins in a saucepan. Cover and cook over boiling water in double boiler for 20 minutes.

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add brown sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add butter and mix thoroughly. Stir in raisins and cereal.

Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Store in airtight container.
