1 cup Streit's Matzo Meal
4 large eggs
¼ cup oil or melted margarine
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
pinch of ground pepper

Directions:

Beat eggs. Add water, oil, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Add matzo meal and stir throughly.
Refrigerate for ½ to 1 hour. (I refrigerate 1 hour)

Fill a large pot ⅔ full with salted water and bring to a boil.
Moisten palms with cold water.
Form mixture into balls about 1 inch diameter.
Drop matzo balls into boiling water.

When all the matzo balls are in the pot, reduce heat to low.
Simmer covered for about 30 minutes or until done.
Remove with slotted spoon.

You can add (before you refrigerate) dried dill, parsley and/or garlic powder to the matzo ball mixture for added taste.

I use a #50 (1½ Tbsp.) cookie scoop to form the balls.

You can freeze matzo balls. After cooking, cool them completely, then freeze them in a single layer on a baking sheet until solid before transferring them to a freezer bag.
