1 c of crushed pineapple
1 lb of fresh cranberries
2-3 oz. pkgs of cherry jello
1 orange with 1/2 of peel
1/2 c pecans - chopped
1/2 cup celery (chopped)
2 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Using a blender - blend cranberies, oragne and peel. You can
loosen the mix by adding a 1/2 of water when blending.

Place cranberries and orange mix into a bowl, add the sugar
and let stand

Drain crushed pineapple and set aside

Dissolve both packages of jello mix in 2-1/4 cups of hot tap
water and let cool

Once the pineapple is drained, the jello is cooled, tosse
everything together, then set in mold

Let the mold sit in the refrigerator overnight.

This is a delicious Thanksgiving salad. After my parents passed away we invited our friends to spend the holiday with us. Margaret told us this was a standard at her parents house for Thanksgiving.

It's a nice replacement for the traditional cranberry sauce.
